Job Description

Loan Servicing Specialist (Escrow) Consumers Credit Union is looking to hire a passionate Loan Servicing Specialist (Escrow) to join our team. As a Loan Servicing Specialist (Escrow), you will be responsible for preserving the Credit Union's assets by managing the daily operations associated with the servicing of all loans (performing and non-performing) in accordance with internal standards, investor guidelines and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will ensure the timely and accurate management of real estate escrow accounts including the payment of property taxes, hazard insurance and private mortgage insurance premiums. What you'll be doing: Work as part of a team responsible for post-origination activities on Mortgage, Home Equity, Auto and Personal Loans. Responsible for timely payment of hazard insurance policies, private mortgage insurance premiums, guarantee fees and property taxes. Responsible for annual escrow analysis accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for reconciliation of escrow payee accounts. Responsible for following up on missing/inadequate insurance and flood zone changes. Responsible for adding and refunding forced placed insurance as necessary. Responsible for timely processing of vehicle titles. Communicate with members, insurance agents, treasurers and vendors. Perform system maintenance on loans. Implement projects to improve the efficiency of the position and department. Demonstrate knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. Provide superior member service with both employees and credit union members. Responsible for administration of the credit union's collateral protection insurance program. Seasonal overtime may be required. Assist in any area as directed by your leader. What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor's Degree preferred and loan servicing, accounting or equivalent experience required. Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills. Working knowledge of all credit union and deposit products. Knowledge of related loan government regulations and Credit Union loan policies. Ability to work at fast pace with a strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Willing to be flexible and adaptable to changing job requirements. Ability to work under pressure and be able to interact and maintain a positive attitude under challenging circumstances. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required.
