Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer experiences, managing transactions accurately, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be comfortable handling cash and POS systems, and have a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus, but not required. Duties Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Support in conducting product demonstrations and promotional activities Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and welcoming Uphold excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Supervise or assist junior team members as needed in supervising experience roles Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as giving correct change and totaling sales Experience in retail sales, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations preferred Ability to upsell products tactfully to increase sales opportunities Bilingual communication skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills Ability to perform product demos confidently and engagingly This position offers an opportunity to develop retail expertise while delivering outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment.
