Responsibilities This position is mainly responsible for reconciling the loan system balances to the corporate general ledger. Additionally, this position will provide a month-end reconcilement of loan operations variances to the Accounting Department. Reconcile the SilverLake loan system balances, comparing them to the Corporate General Ledger Reconcile all loan general ledger/DD accounts assigned to Loan Operations on a daily basis by monitoring and clearing outstanding items. Processing general ledger entries (cross-application) or preparing loan payments/reversals as needed. Provide a month-end reconcilement of loan processes to Team Leader/Supervisor and properly document any variances that exist and enter into Blackline accordingly. Use various systematic tools and reports on a daily basis to effectively perform required duties (e.g. SilverLake, GL Recon, 4Sight and Synergy). Communicate with other departments/branches regarding exception issues as they arise Other duties as assigned Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
Qualifications Education, Training and Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Associates Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent relative work experience preferred All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to organize, prioritize and work effectively under time constraints Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be proficient with Excel Must be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values: a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humility
Experience:
Working knowledge of required documentation for all loan types Preference will be given to a candidate with at least one (1) year experience in banking or accounting
