Reporting to the AVP, Special Loans, this position is responsible for conducting comprehensive, in-depth assessments of complex loan cases, identifying potential risks and implementing strategic solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role handles high-risk special loan accounts, including those in default, modification or requiring unique solutions. This role conducts detailed analysis and manages the account status to support the decision-making and resolution on special loan cases. Additionally, this role maintains detailed records, prepares reports and communicates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, resolve issues and optimize loan performance.
Qualifications Include:
High school diploma or GED Required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years' experience servicing adjustable rates, modifications, simple interest or similar background 2+ years' experience in the mortgage servicing industry 1+ years' experience with ARM, DSI, Step Rate, SCRA, HELOC and other unconventional loan products 1+ years' experience working in a fast-paced work environment Knowledge of MSP ARM Workstation controls preferred Solid verbal and written communication skills Solid interpersonal skills Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities Good judgement with the ability to evaluate and make decisions Strong time management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Customer service/ client orientation with strong execution skills and results orientation Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities High-level of attention to detail and consistency Flexible, open to change, ability to learn new things quickly Collaborative; ability to work effectively with others Submit Your Resume to Learn More Featured Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance Disability Insurance Pet Insurance 401k Program with Employer Matching 3 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Wellness Initiatives Employee Assistance Program Eligible for Hybrid Work Schedule with Remote Flex Days Compensation The hourly range for this position is between $21.00 to $26.80 hourly This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus Fay Cares!
