Job Description

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Collection Officer to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of lending products and collections, and a commitment to providing exceptional member services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collection duties including coordination with credit union loan servicers Conduct credit analysis and evaluate borrower financial information Assist clients with understanding loan payment options Perform loan workout assessments Stay informed about the industry changes related to banking and credit analysis practices Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to facilitate efficient loan processes Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the loan lifecycle Experience Prior experience as a Collection Officer or in a similar financial services role is required Knowledge of consumer lending origination, processing, underwriting and servicing processes is highly desirable Excellent member service abilities are necessary for success in this role Experience working within the banking or financial services industry will be considered an asset This position offers an opportunity to grow within a team dedicated to helping clients achieve their personal financial goals.
