What You'll Do Loan Processing & Support Processing consumer loan requests, including running credit reports and completing loan applications in person or over the phone Assigning completed loan applications to loan officers for review Processing advances on existing lines of credit (LOC) and VISA cards Obtaining payoff amounts for refinances and calculating vehicle values for loan officers Preparing release of title or lien documentation for management approval Performs duties related to loan retention Process payoff checks and balancing of totals Member Service & Loan Assistance Answering member inquiries regarding loans, blue book values, payoffs, approvals or denials, and general account services Assisting walk-in members with loan information, application needs, and closing of loans Providing backup support to the reception area as needed Administrative Support Performing general office tasks such as scanning, faxing, emailing, typing, copying, filing, and using calculators and check scanners What You Bring Required Qualifications Minimum of six (6) months of related lending experience Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service orientation Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel General office skills, including emailing, faxing, scanning, typing, copying, filing, and phone communication Preferred Qualifications Six months of related lending experience in a bank or credit union Experience assisting members or customers in a financial services environment Familiarity with consumer lending processes and documentation Why You'll Love Working Here We're more than a credit union — we're a community.
