Job Summary This position reports to the Officer in charge of the Consumer Loan Center. This person will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day tasks of the Consumer Loan Center - preparing reports, auditing files, and data entry of loan files, monitoring and analyzing data, and reviewing declines for compliance. This person should be familiar with all applicable consumer lending regulations. As an Employee of Texas First Bank this staff member will assist in supporting other departments and Banking Centers with operational functions as requested. Responsibilities and Duties Data entry of incoming consumer loan and credit card applications for Centralized Lending. Manage collections of delinquent consumer loans, credit cards, and all other loan programs assigned to the Consumer Loan Center. Prepare monthly reports for all consumer loans and credit cards as needed. Analyze and review data for any compliance issues and areas needed for improvement. Prepare monthly referral report(s) for the decisioned applications. Write reports needed to extract data from the Underwriting Software for auditors, examiners, compliance, or when needed. Responsible all other consumer loan programs such Central Bank Loans and CreditNovo including vetting new Providers, maintaining logs, compliance auditing, and working with Loan Operations to book loans, if needed Assist Underwriters with Tax Office duties to perfect the lien and request updated insurance policies from insurance firms. Obtain a working knowledge of all Texas First Bank Visa card products to sufficiently assist Banking Center staff with general questions and to manage monthly Visa collection reports. Obtain expert knowledge of all consumer loan products to assist with Banking Center requests and questions from consumer loan customers. Provide back up support to the employee(s) in charge of card operations. As part of the overall team of bank employees, this position may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities. Regard for all important details to assure accuracy in every transaction performed; detect errors; follow through on corrections and details. Able to adjust quickly to different work situations; remain composed under pressure and stressful situations. Ability to effectively manage one's time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks. Understands the potential of automation in completing work and improving efficiency within various functions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Job Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent attention to detail. Able to adjust quickly to different work situations, remain composed and must be able to work under stress and handle difficult and stressful situations. Time management skills required to complete work according to established deadlines and prioritize tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. This job required skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communications skills, as well as utilization of office equipment.
