Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Licensed Customs Broker to manage import operations and international trade compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring all import shipments comply with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, tariff classifications, and partner government agency requirements while maintaining efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end import entry processes, ensuring timely clearance and strict adherence to U.S. Customs regulations. Classify imported merchandise accurately under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS) and determine correct duty rates, valuation, and country of origin. Serve as the primary point of contact for CBP, Partner Government Agencies (PGAs such as
FDA, USDA, EPA
), and internal logistics teams. Audit import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) for compliance, accuracy, and completeness. Resolve customs holds, examinations, post-summary corrections, and duty drawback claims. Monitor regulatory updates and trade policy shifts to maintain internal compliance protocols and minimize financial exposure. Qualifications & Requirements Active U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) is required. 5+ years of progressive experience in import operations, customs brokerage, or international logistics management. In-depth expertise in U.S. customs laws, HTS classification, valuation rules, and trade compliance programs. Exceptional analytical capability and problem-solving skills with rigorous attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with customs authorities, carriers, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency with customs brokerage software (e.g., CargoWise, Descartes) and intermediate/advanced Excel skills. #COR1
