This is an opportunity for a seasoned freight-forwarding professional who enjoys leading people, solving complex shipment issues, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer service . You'll work with a knowledgeable team and have a direct impact on the performance and growth of our import department. What You'll Do Manage and oversee Air and Ocean Import shipments from pre-alert through final delivery Lead, support, and develop import staff while maintaining high operational standards Coordinate with airlines, steamship lines, overseas agents, truckers, warehouses, and customs brokers Oversee U.S. Customs clearance , documentation, delivery, and shipment exceptions Resolve delays, holds, and operational issues proactively Ensure accurate handling of Incoterms, HTS classifications, and import requirements Monitor department performance, improve workflows, and maintain strong customer relationships Review charges, coordinate billing, and ensure accurate shipment records in CargoWise Work closely with sales, brokerage, warehouse, and operations teams What We're Looking For 8+ years of freight forwarding experience , including substantial Air and Ocean Import experience Previous experience as an Import Manager, Supervisor, or senior import professional Strong knowledge of U.S. import procedures, customs clearance, Incoterms, and HTS Experience leading or mentoring import personnel CargoWise experience preferred Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills A proactive "get it done" attitude and strong sense of accountability Why Join Radius?
