Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Customs Broker and Import/Export Specialist to manage international shipping operations, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and facilitate seamless import and export processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of customs procedures, regulatory requirements, and logistics management to support our global supply chain. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment dedicated to efficient transportation and compliance management across various industries. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customs clearance and import/export documentation processing. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, and other applicable international trade laws. Oversee regulatory reporting related to customs declarations, import/export documentation, and compliance audits. Manage risk assessment procedures to identify potential delays or legal issues in shipments. Maintain accurate report writing on shipment status, compliance activities, and regulatory updates. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize logistics workflows and improve overall efficiency. Stay updated on changes in customs laws, trade policies, and transportation regulations affecting import/export activities. Skills Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and freight forwarding processes. Familiarity with FDA regulations impacting imported/exported goods. Experience with regulatory reporting requirements for customs authorities. Expertise in risk management strategies within international shipping contexts. Excellent compliance management skills to ensure adherence to all legal standards. Proficient report writing abilities for documenting compliance activities and shipment details. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of our international trade operations while ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations.
