The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the movement of goods and services within the supply chain, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and managing relationships with clients and vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and transportation management, as well as the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Supervise Customs entry writers staff Request/compile necessary documents for a Customs entry (commercial documents, country of origin certificate, bill of lading, and arrival notice) and check for accuracy Sign documents on behalf of clients Calculate duties/taxes based upon proper classification using the USHTS Prepare and submit Customs entries on behalf of clients Prepare and submit Post Entry Amendments, Requests for Information, etc. on behalf of clients Monitor and trace shipments Provide advice (limited) to clients (re: current regulations, laws, transportation options, etc.) Classify clients' goods based upon their parts tables Stay current of any changes in port situations laws/regulations by reading, attending conference calls or webinars, etc. Work closely with import department Other duties as necessary (such as reporting functions, etc.)Job Type:
