Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position. Experience Requirements Freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation experience preferred Forklift experience required Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment Job Duties Coordinate international air export shipments from booking through departure Prepare and process air export documentation and shipping records Schedule cargo pickups, warehouse handling, and airline transfers Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers and internal teams Ensure compliance with transportation, TSA, IATA, and carrier requirements Resolve shipment issues and support on-time departures Review shipment costs and assist with billing processes Operate forklifts and assist with warehouse handling as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment. Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Air Export Operations Agent. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time-sensitive conditions. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, airlines, and internal teams. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other computer-based operating systems. Ability to learn transportation regulations, documentation requirements, and internal operating procedures. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. •Staffmark Associate What You Will Do As a Air Export Operations Agent you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position. Successful Air Export Operations Agent professionals demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work while contributing to organizational success. Coordinate international air export shipments from receipt of shipping instructions through cargo departure. Review shipment documentation and customer instructions for accuracy and completeness. Arrange and monitor cargo pickup, delivery, warehouse handling, and transfer to airlines. Prepare and process air export documentation, including House and Master Air Waybills and other required shipping documents. Shipment data to be input accurately into the system. Communicate shipment status, delays, exceptions, and other relevant updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Monitor shipments through departure and proactively follow up on operational issues or potential delays. Ensure shipments are handled in accordance with applicable TSA, IATA, government, carrier, and company requirements. Support the handling of special cargo, including time-sensitive, temperature-sensitive, oversized, or dangerous goods shipments, as applicable and based on training/qualification. Review vendor charges and shipment costs for accuracy and assist with file completion and billing preparation.
