Customs Brokerage Associate Florham Park, NJ 07932 Contract-to-Hire Monday-Friday | Full-Time $27.00-$29.80/Hour Position Overview We are seeking Customs Brokerage Agents to support import customs clearance activities for a portfolio of customers. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates already working in a customs brokerage environment who want to expand their experience with a global logistics leader. What You'll Do Process U.S. Customs import entries and related documentation. Prepare and transmit customs filings through ACE and ABI systems. Monitor shipments from arrival through customs clearance and delivery. Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and documentation requirements. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to facilitate timely cargo release. Maintain accurate records, shipment files, and operational documentation. Support compliance with CBP regulations and customer requirements. What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience processing customs entries for a customs broker . Experience using ACE and ABI systems. Understanding of customs clearance procedures and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and communication skills. CargoWise experience is a plus.
