Customs Brokerage Entry Writer

Customs Entry Writer Full-Time | $55,000-$75,000 | Hybrid (Valley Stream, NY) A well?established international logistics company is seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer to join their import operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast?paced environment, enjoys problem?solving, and has strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations. Responsibilities Prepare and process Customs entries for air and ocean shipments Review commercial documents and classify products using the HTS Submit entry documentation to U.S. Customs and PGAs Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipment issues Maintain accurate records in systems such as CargoWise Assist with drawback entry preparation and filing Prepare billing packets and maintain shared tracking spreadsheets Organize and save all documentation electronically Support management and collaborate with team members to meet service expectations Requirements High school diploma required; associate degree preferred Minimum 4 years of Customs brokerage experience Strong data entry skills and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required) Experience with brokerage software; CargoWise preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and handle time?sensitive tasks Knowledge of drawback processing a plus Customs Broker License is helpful but not required
