721 Logistics is a family-owned customs brokerage located in the heart of Old City, Philadelphia. We specialize in the clearance of dry and perishable goods, delivering impeccable, timely service, and in-depth customs knowledge. Role Description We're looking for an individual with experience in customs brokerage, CBP, or a related field and a working knowledge of CBP regulations to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist with 721, you'll work with the compliance team to ensure our customers' import/export activities comply with CBP/PGA regulations. You'll review documentation, advise on regulations, and manage compliance processes. Your role is critical in maintaining compliance, fostering client trust, and facilitating smooth cross-border operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and
  • adherence to CBP requirements.
  • Advise clients on CBP regulations, tariff classifications, valuation, and other related compliances matters.
  • Handle PSC/Protest filings and manage CTPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)
  • program.
  • Conduct AD/CVD (Anti-dumping/Countervailing Duty) reviews and perform classification
  • according to the HTSUS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States).
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compliance procedures and protocols.
  • Handle inquiries and communications with CBP officials on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct internal audits to identify and address compliance issues.
  • Stay informed about changes in CBP regulations and industry's best practices. Skills and Qualifications
  • 3- 5 years of experience in customs brokerage or import/export compliance is required
  • Understanding of CBP regulations, including but not limited to HTS classification, valuation, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • The ability to travel reliably on a regular basis to Old City Philadelphia.

Paid Time Off Work-from-Home Flexibility:
50 days per year after a 6-month probationary period, subject to approval. WFH is non-negotiable.
