Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Entry Specialist to join a growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the customs clearance process for international shipments via Air and Ocean, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and facilitating smooth entry of goods across borders. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of customs brokerage management, international trade regulations, and regulatory compliance management. Your expertise will support our commitment to efficient transportation management, risk mitigation, and adherence to global trade standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and regulatory knowledge drive operational success. Duties Prepare and submit customs entries accurately in accordance with customs regulations and international trade laws. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, OSHA standards, and transportation safety regulations during all stages of customs clearance. Coordinate with importers , freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal teams to facilitate timely clearance of shipments. Manage regulatory reporting processes related to customs activities and prepare reports on compliance status if needed Identify potential risks in customs procedures or documentation and implement mitigation strategies aligned with risk management protocols. Skills knowledge of customs import regulations Proven experience in customs brokerage and customs clearance management within a global trade environment. Technical proficiency with global trade management software platforms used for customs documentation processing. Familiarity with varying OGA/PGA governing bodies such as
FDA, TSCA, APHIS, LACEY
Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams, external agencies, and regulatory bodies.
Pay:
$58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
