Customs Import Specialist:

Manage U.S. import compliance activities and ensure adherence to customs regulations and internal policies. Classify products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and maintain classification accuracy. Evaluate tariff and regulatory changes and assess business impact. Administer Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification programs and maintain supporting documentation. Coordinate customs entry processes and work closely with customs brokers to resolve import issues. Support duty optimization programs, audits, compliance reviews, and trade-related reporting. Qualifications for the

Customs Import Specialist:

Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) credential required. Strong expertise in Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification. Experience with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and administration. Working knowledge of U.S. import regulations, customs compliance requirements, and customs entry processes. Experience evaluating tariff changes and their impact on business operations. Background in import operations, duty optimization programs, and trade compliance activities. Ability to effectively partner with procurement, logistics, business stakeholders, and external customs brokers. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
