Customs Brokerage Manager Location:

$24.00 per hourSchedule:
Monday•Friday Must be available to work every other Saturday Position Summary The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent client service. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily customs brokerage operations, including entry processing and compliance activities Ensure all customs entries are accurate, timely, and compliant with CBP and other government regulations Manage, train, and supervise brokerage staff, including workflow coordination and performance monitoring Review and approve customs documentation, HTS classifications, and duty calculations Maintain FTZ compliance, including inventory control and required reporting Serve as the primary contact for CBP, clients, and internal departments regarding brokerage matters Monitor regulatory changes and update procedures as needed Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions when necessary Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure smooth cargo flow Resolve complex customs entry issues and client inquiries efficiently Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-level customer service Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related field required Proven experience in customs brokerage operations FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) experience required Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, and import/export procedures Supervisory or management experience preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in brokerage software systems and Microsoft Office Work Environment This role operates in a professional office and logistics environment on the East Side. It involves coordination with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams, as well as interaction with government agencies and clients.
