Job Description

Position Summary EP Logistics is seeking a Customs Brokerage Manager to oversee and manage daily brokerage operations, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of customs processes, and experience with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily customs brokerage operations, including entry processing and compliance activities Ensure all entries are accurate, timely, and compliant with CBP regulations and other government agencies Manage and support brokerage staff, including training, performance monitoring, and workflow coordination Review and approve customs documentation, classifications, and duty calculations Maintain compliance with FTZ regulations, including inventory control and reporting requirements Serve as the main point of contact for CBP, clients, and internal teams regarding brokerage matters Monitor regulatory changes and ensure procedures are updated accordingly Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions when necessary Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure efficient cargo movement Resolve complex entry issues, discrepancies, and client inquiries in a timely manner Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide high-level customer service Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (required) Proven experience in customs brokerage operations FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) experience required Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, and import/export processes Experience in a supervisory or management role preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in brokerage software systems and Microsoft Office What We're Looking For A reliable, long-term team member who can grow with the company Strong leadership and accountability Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and accuracy Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
