Full Job Description Overview:

My client, a growing international freight forwarding and logistics company, is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to join its Houston-area team. This is a hands-on role managing ocean export shipments from booking through departure, working closely with customers, carriers, truckers, overseas agents, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate end-to-end ocean export shipments Manage carrier bookings, cut-offs, and vessel schedules Prepare and review export documentation Coordinate with customers, carriers, terminals and overseas agents Track shipments and proactively manage delays/issues Handle Bills of Lading, Shipping Instructions and AES/EEI Maintain accurate shipment records and support billing

Requirements:

2+ years' ocean export/freight forwarding experience Experience with CargoWise is preferred Strong knowledge of export documentation and processes Experience working with ocean carriers/NVOCCs Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments

Pay:

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
