The ideal candidate will have strong organization, communication, and negotiation skills, and be comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities. This is a full-time, in-office position at Acoma Energy's headquarters in Lubbock, Texas. Key Responsibilities Negotiate oil and gas leases and mineral purchases in target areas Draft and review leases and addenda according to company guidelines Handle closings from start to finish, including lease/deed packet preparation, status tracking and follow-up, and purchase report creation Maintain internal lease, mineral, and contract records Assist with ongoing regulatory filing preparation and submission Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Energy Commerce, Energy Management, Business, or a related field 3-5+ years of oil and gas land experience, with direct exposure to leasing and mineral acquisitions Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Working knowledge of Texas oil and gas law and lease provisions Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple projects and negotiations simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office Why Join Us?
