Responsibilities Process approximately 120 customs entries per month while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Prepare and submit both U.S. and Mexican customs entries (approximately 50%
U.S. / 50
% Mexico). Review shipping documentation and customs paperwork for completeness and compliance. Ensure all customs transactions comply with applicable regulations and company procedures. Coordinate with internal departments, customs authorities, and customers as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Assist with billing-related activities associated with customs entries. Meet established productivity, quality, and compliance KPIs. Perform additional customs brokerage and administrative duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of recent U.S. Customs brokerage experience (required). Experience processing customs entries in a brokerage environment. Working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Ability to learn internal customs software and systems. Preferred Experience processing both U.S. and Mexican customs entries. Previous experience with customs brokerage software and billing processes. Training & Onboarding Structured onboarding and training program provided. Mandatory training is required before system access is granted. Typical training period is approximately 2 weeks , depending on experience. Employees receive the necessary system access after completing required training. Performance Expectations Success in this role includes: Processing approximately 120 customs entries per month . Maintaining compliance with all customs regulations. Meeting established productivity and quality KPIs. Accurately completing billing-related responsibilities. Staying organized while managing multiple customer accounts. Additional performance expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required based on business needs. Hiring Process One interview process with the hiring team, including the Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Branch Manager. Hiring decisions are made as quickly as possible once qualified candidates are identified. Pre-Employment Requirements Selected candidates must successfully complete: Background check (if required by the hiring process) Drug screening (if required by the hiring process) Criminal history review (required due to customs compliance requirements) Safety & Workplace Information On-site safety orientation provided before beginning work. OSHA-based safety training is included. No personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for this position.
