We're looking for a hands-on, motivated accounting professional who is a self-starter, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys improving processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, purchasing, payroll, tax, and financial reporting Manage month-end and year-end close processes Review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Monitor cash flow and provide financial metrics and projections to the CFO Support budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and special projects Oversee biweekly payroll, payroll taxes, reconciliations, and year-end reporting Assist with system implementations and company-wide initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA strongly preferred 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibility Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll, taxation, and internal controls Self-starter who takes initiative and full ownership of the accounting function Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach Details Full-time, in-office position, Monday - Friday Generous PTO Plan Excellent Benefits including Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance $70,000 - $75,000 DOE This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful family-owned company that values accuracy, teamwork, and long-term relationships. #IND Apply (This will open in a new window from which you will be automatically redirected to an external site after 5 seconds) Send job Apply (This will open in a new window from which you will be automatically redirected to an external site after 5 seconds) Save job Click to add the job to your shortlist You need to sign in or create an account to save a job.
