Controller (Construction)

Currently recruiting for a Controller at an exciting, growing construction company, based in Irvine. Job Responsibilities:

Oversee general accounting functions (AP, AR, GL, payroll, cost accounting) Prepare and manage WIP schedule Manage the bi-weekly payroll processing Prepare/manage cash flow Prepare financial statements and analyze for accuracy and compliance Prepare and review job cost reports Managed fixed asset schedule Assist with sales and use tax filings Oversee AR and billings, as well as credit card program and reconciliation Supervise accounting team Develop and maintain financial controls Work with project managers and senior management

Qualifications:

7+ years progressive accounting experience Construction industry experience

REQUIRED

Strong Excel Experience with Sage Intact, Procore, Miter, Bill.com preferred! Previous supervisory experience Bachelor's in accounting or finance Strong GAAP understanding Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
