Job Overview:

The Director of Accounting will lead the financial operations and long-term financial strategy of JRI Hospitality's restaurant division. This role is responsible for preparation of accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls to protect assets, supporting organizational performance and growth, optimizing business processes, and building a scalable finance organization that enables continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and execute the overall financial strategy of the restaurant division. Lead the period close across multiple entities and our 13-period fiscal close calendar. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, intercompany activity, consolidations and financial statement preparation. Review consolidated financial results and provide insights on key trends, risks, and opportunities Oversee accounts payable, daily sales posting and bank reconciliations. Maintain appropriate internal controls and segregation of duties. Partner with executive and operation leaders on strategic decisions, growth initiatives, and capital allocation Direct cash flow forecasting processes. Lead financial integration efforts for acquisitions, restaurant concepts, systems, and accounting processes Oversee annual budgeting and forecasting processes Establish financial policies, reporting standards, and organizational performance expectations Actively support global CFO in audit, tax, insurance, and other external financial relationships Build, develop, and lead a strong finance and accounting team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required CPA, MBA, or equivalent executive financial credentials preferred 5+ years experience in accounting leadership required Multi-location experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with
