4 Days Onsite A leading publicly traded organization is seeking a Director
•Accounting Strategy to join its accounting organization. This is a high-visibility opportunity focused on technical accounting, strategic transactions, and complex accounting matters. Key Responsibilities Lead technical accounting analysis for complex transactions, investments, and other strategic initiatives. Research US GAAP and SEC requirements and prepare technical accounting memos, policies, and supporting documentation. Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and other internal stakeholders on accounting considerations and business initiatives. Support SEC reporting and related disclosure requirements. Assist with acquisition integration and other strategic accounting projects. Monitor new accounting guidance and evaluate its impact on the organization. Support the company's SOX and internal control environment. Communicate technical accounting conclusions and recommendations to senior financial and non-financial stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. CPA required. 8+ years of relevant experience. Big 4 experience required. Strong technical accounting and US GAAP knowledge. Experience with SEC reporting and public-company accounting. Background in Technical Accounting/National Office, Capital Markets, transactional advisory, or complex large-cap audit strongly preferred. Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills. SOX/internal controls experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. #LI-MB1 KBW789
