About Thomasville Restoration Thomasville Restoration's vision is to be the #1 most trusted and respected Restoration Company. To help achieve this goal and support our growth, we are building a world-class Finance Team and adding a Strategic Controller who will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This position offers a unique opportunity to support our mission of putting families' homes and lives back together while strengthening the financial foundation that enables our continued growth, operational excellence, and long-term success. What You'll Do Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for internal leadership, external audits, and tax reporting Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance financial reporting and KPI visibility across the organization Support and develop Finance team members to drive efficiency, accountability, and professional growth Develop pro forma models and perform ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate opportunities and monitor ROI Build accounting consolidation models to support acquisitions and integration efforts Forecast cash flow and proactively manage liquidity during periods of growth Own the integrity of the general ledger and oversee the monthly close process Review and manage bank reconciliations, journal entries, reclassifications, and account analyses Oversee fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and related accounting policies Ensure proper transaction coding and compliance with established financial procedures Review A/R and A/P aging reports and partner cross-functionally to drive strong cash flow performance Serve as system owner for QuickBooks and related financial integrations Identify and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal controls Enhance accounting dashboards and reporting tools to improve decision-making visibility Maintain clean vendor and customer master records and ensure accurate data integrity Document finance processes and internal controls to support audit readiness and scalable growth Act as primary accounting liaison for external auditors and tax advisors Prepare audit schedules, tax documentation, and required financial support materials Oversee local tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements Develop deep institutional knowledge of Thomasville Restoration's accounting environment Who You Are You hold a BA or BS in Finance or Accounting, CPA strongly preferred. You have 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, or Accounting, with demonstrated leadership growth. You possess a deep understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting regulations, and internal controls. You demonstrate advanced Excel expertise and have the ability to analyze and synthesize large, complex data sets. You have experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software and related financial system integrations. You are a driven and technically strong accounting professional who takes ownership of financial integrity. You are a strategic thinker who connects financial analysis to operational and executive decision making. You are financially disciplined with experience managing budgets, forecasting, liquidity, and profitability. You are highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment. You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and can present financial information with confidence. You operate with high integrity, protect confidential information, and lead with accountability. You are motivated, humble, and hungry to build scalable systems and elevate a high-performing Finance function.
