Director of Accounting Full-Time | On-Site in Columbia, MD Our client in Columbia, MD is seeking a strategic, hands ‑ on Director of Accounting to lead all accounting and financial operations for a growing, mission ‑ driven non-profit service organization with $25-$27 million. This is a highly visible role offering direct access to the Executive Director and Board, with meaningful influence over financial strategy, operations, and long ‑ term growth.
Offering:
Salary:
$140,000-$150,000

Director of Accounting:
Oversee all accounting, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis Prepare annual operating budgets and interim financial reports Ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and audit readiness Manage monthly close, general ledger, debt service, taxes, and insurance Coordinate the annual financial statement audit and Medicare Cost Report Lead, develop, and support the finance team Serve as a trusted partner to leadership and the
