Job Description
Incredible Health seeks an Emergency Department RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting. You'll perform rapid triage, assessments, and interventions for diverse patient populations, administer medications and IV therapies, and closely monitor cardiac and respiratory status. Working with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, you'll coordinate timely care, ensure accurate EHR documentation, and support safe discharges. Ideal candidates bring strong clinical judgment, ED or acute care experience, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes, safety, and overall care experiences. Responsibilities Provide direct emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations across all acuity levels Perform rapid triage, assessments, and implementation of evidence-based interventions Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders and protocols Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status, escalating concerns promptly Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate timely care and safe handoffs Document accurately and efficiently in the EHR, ensuring regulatory and hospital compliance Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Participate in quality, safety, and process-improvement initiatives within the EDSupport a culture of empathy, teamwork, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment Required Skills Emergency nursing Triage assessment IV insertion and management Medication administration Cardiac and respiratory monitoring Wound care and stabilization EKG interpretation Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Patient and family education Interdisciplinary team collaboration
