full-time We are partnering with a growing multi-entity organization seeking a strategic and hands-on finance leader to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives across a multi-location business environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting executive who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and leading high-performing teams. This role is responsible for leading accounting operations, ensuring compliance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting organizational growth and efficiency initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in complex or multi-location environments and thrives in a hands-on role managing both strategic financial oversight and day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Oversee cash flow management and ownership distributions. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for multiple entities, including consolidated reporting across different systems. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax requirements, including sales tax filings and payments. Analyze accounting operations and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Manage accounts payable operations, including invoice approvals and payment processing. Oversee accounts receivable functions, including billing, cash application, and collections. Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors. Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets. Support ERP optimization and system improvement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience leading accounting teams within multi-location or complex organizations. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams across remote locations. High level of professionalism and confidentiality. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP systems and implementations; experience with Acumatica or Sage is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA and/or MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including oversight of complex accounting operations.
