POSITION TITLE
Regional Accounts Director, U.S. Government Business (USGB)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Accounts Director will call on key personnel within any or all of the following entities; Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Indian Health Services and Public Health Services within the U.S., supporting the market access strategy for the Sun's branded and generic portfolio. In collaboration with various Sun business partners, will develop and execute in-depth business plans and strategies to increase net sales with targeted customers. Conducts analyses to determine potential business opportunities within the Federal Markets space. Monitors performance and adjusts plans to address emerging opportunities and challenges. In collaboration with Market Access and Sales Partners, assists in developing specific product and account pull-through for targeted areas. This is a field based position. It is posted as in NJ since Sun Pharma's corporate office is based in Princeton, NJ. Applicants located in NJ or the Washington DC area are preferred. Applicants from all 50 states will be considered and commensurate with experience since this is a field based position covering U.S. government business for the company.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Accounts Director is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance and maintain optimal access to Sun's portfolio of products within the Federal Marketplace.
  • Work with KOL's to gain acceptance and favorable positioning of Sun's portfolio within the VA and/or Federal Marketplace.
  • Work in collaboration with local and regional sales teams on pull-through activities for targeted accounts.
  • Conduct comprehensive business reviews both internally and externally as required.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal partners and provide on-going clear communication to ensure clarity of access and support pull through efforts.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of the Federal Market, Sun products as well as competitor products.
Additional Responsibilities include: Develops in-depth business plans and strategies to increase net sales with targeted customers. Maintains effective customer relationships with key senior-level decision makers and key opinion leaders at local level in order to understand the customer's requirements and match them with the organization's solutions. Utilizes advanced product/service knowledge and understanding of the customer's business to develop customized proposals that produces revenue in line with current organization and individual targets/quotas. Manage a combination of accounts covering multiple business segments. Conduct analyses to determine potential business opportunities, and Leads cross-functional teams to maximize business opportunities at the local and regional level Up to 70% Travel
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Bachelors degree is minimum education, MHA or equivalent preferred U.S. Military Veteran or Retired U.S. Military preferred 5-10 years of sales or Market Access in the Veterans Health Administration/Federal Marketplace Proficient understanding of the FSS, FAR and TAA Excellent communication skills Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Power point Ability to travel on aircraft Valid State driver's license

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $180k-225k. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of IC Commission Plan.
