Salary:
Up to $185,000 with partner track (non equity to start) within 3 years

Position Summary:
The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for developing and maintaining firm quality standards relative to all professional industry standards. This position will also be responsible for additional aspects of firm management as described below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and implement quality review standards and procedures for audits, reviews and compilations. Review of financial statements prepared by firm staff. Monitor staff adherence to firm QR standards by reviewing all compilations, reviews and audits prepared by the firm's staff. Monitor and evaluate new standards as issued and coordinate updates for staff, managers and partners on an as needed basis. Provide relevant training to the firm's accounting staff. Conduct the firm's internal inspection process including conducting engagement reviews, work with staff to correct any issues and report findings to managers and partners. Act as firm's liaison for peer reviews. Provide recommendations for software related to accounting and auditing. Review staff CPEs to ensure compliance. Manage a small team of junior and senior accountants. Assist accounting managers in workflow management. Maintain assigned client list by effective client communication, return and financial statement preparation. Develop new client relationships. Ad hoc projects as may develop.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Finanance/Accounting CPA Up to 15 years of Exprience in CPA firm (small, mid size or big 4) Management, relationship building, mentor within a collaborative team environment #EMERSONRG
