Director of Accounting and IT Infrastructure Salary Range:

COO JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the accounting and budget processes of a non-profit membership organization, including financial accounting and reporting; accounts payable processing; inventory & fixed asset accounting; and bi-weekly payroll. Also responsible for AMLE's digital systems, web properties, and technology infrastructure, including platform strategy and integration, database management, analytics, and cybersecurity. Accounting and Finance General Accounting Responsible for the Quarter end closing process (General Ledger Entries, account analysis and reconciliations, bank reconciliations etc.) Preparation and reporting of quarterly financial statement package (Balance Sheet; Statement of Revenue, Foundation financial reports, Management Discussion and Analysis) Serve as liaison with the external auditor / tax accountants - coordinating all information and data to be sent to auditors Accounts Payable Responsible for the timely processing of invoices (verifying accuracy and approvals). Maintain credit card records and account allocations Fixed Assets Manage the accounting and record keeping function of all fixed asset transactions including additions and disposals. Budget Management Responsible for creation of annual budget (in conjunction with

) Develop and manage the annual technology budget, including platform licensing, vendor contracts, and capital technology expenditures Payroll Process Bi-weekly payroll with external PEO Digital Systems, Web, and Technology Infrastructure Oversees AMLE's entire digital ecosystem, including AMLE.org, AMLE.org/annual, middleschool.org, my.amle.org, and all event and campaign subdomains. Leads the strategy and integration of all technology platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Path LMS, WordPress, DNN, MX Online, and related plug-ins, APIs, and automation tools. Directs single sign-on (SSO) initiatives, database management, analytics reporting, and cybersecurity best practices. Manages technology vendors and consultants, including scoping of work, contract negotiation, and performance oversight. Ensures the integrity of data flowing between financial, membership, and learning systems, so that revenue and membership reporting reconciles to the general ledger.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field, with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. Direct experience with financial statement preparation and reporting, defining policies and procedures, payables, receivables, taxes and audits preferably with a non-profit association. Hands on experience and success in budget development and fiscal compliance. Demonstrated experience managing web properties, CRM/AMS platforms, and integrations between business systems. Working knowledge of CRM and association management systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), content management systems (WordPress, DNN), learning management systems, SSO, APIs, and analytics reporting tools. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, data privacy requirements, and vendor management. Ability to manage projects, establish priorities and meet deadlines within a team environment. Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central, Payroll systems, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and AMS systems.
