As a senior member of the Finance team, the Accounting Director will support modernization and efficiency efforts through the adoption of automation and AI tools, while leading teams in delivering timely, accurate financial information and upholding fiscal integrity.Key responsibilities include:
Directing accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and statutory reporting. Leading fiscal close processes and enhancing month-end close timelines and accuracy. Administering internal controls and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards. Supervising and mentoring accounting teams to promote high performance and professional development. Overseeing external and internal audit processes and managing related documentation. Driving continuous improvement and digital transformation efforts in accounting processes and systems. Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, financial analytics, and executive reporting. Partnering cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and IT to integrate systems and streamline workflows. Work Environment This position offers a hybrid work arrangement; candidates must reside at a U.S. location within 125 miles of their assigned office location. Compensation will be determined based on geographic location. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive. Compensation New York City, NY- $125,000
