full-time Director of Accounting Leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional ready to own the accounting function and help drive the business forward.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting. Partner with senior management to turn financial information into usable business insights. Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams, contributing to a positive, team atmosphere. Oversee
GL, AP/AR
reconciliations, controls, compliance, and audits. Lead, coach, and development the accounting team. Drive automation, ERP and process improvements to scale the organization. Support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities. Serve as key partner to the VP, Corporate Controller, CFO and cross functional-leadership.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required or strongly preferred. 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience. Manufacturing, CPG, or distribution experience required. Proven leadership and team-development experience. Big 4/second-tier public accounting candidates with relevant manufacturing or CPG clients.
