Job Posting Title Senior Financial Aid Officer Choose To Make A Difference Come care with us at American Career College where you will meet with students and prospective students to provide information on financial aid and options that can help them develop a financial plan for achieving their healthcare career goals. In addition, you will put your technical financial aid skills to work ensuring proper eligibility and processing in accordance with federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations. You will make an impact by: Serving as VA Certifying Official for campus, including monitoring eligibility status for students receiving military education benefits, timely update of enrollment and eligibility details in VA Once software, and responding to student questions or requests for information. Assists with training/mentoring of new Financial Aid Planners through appointment observations, mentoring, and shadowing activities. Reviews pending private loan disbursements and batches, adjusts, or schedules refunds as appropriate, and documents actions in CampusVue and ELM. Assists Financial Aid Director with general operations and management activities such as monitoring office appointment calendar, delegating activities, managing student traffic and generation/compilation of reports or data as requested by the Financial Aid Director.
