Position Description/Requirements Lincoln Land Community College is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented student to join the Financial Aid Office as a Student Worker. This position offers an opportunity to gain professional office experience dedicated to helping students navigate the financial aid process. This position will assist with a variety of office tasks that support the Financial Aid Office, including: Scanning and filing student records Assisting with general office duties and special projects as needed Benefits of this position include: Gaining professional office experience in a student services environment Working alongside a fun, supportive, and collaborative team Flexible work hours that accommodate your class schedule All LLCC Student Workers have the following institutional responsibilities: Uphold LLCC's mission, as well as certain standards of conduct within the College and in dealings with students, staff, faculty and the general public. Responsible for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other regulations with regard to confidentiality of and access to student and other institutional records. Student workers in this position will be paid minimum wage and can work up to 20 hours per week. Flexible hours are available Monday through Friday at LLCC's main campus. ONLY students eligible for Federal Work Study will be considered for this position.
Requirements include the following:
Must maintain satisfactory academic progress. Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the semester of employment, with the exception of summer term. Complete LLCC's mandatory harassment prevention training within 30 days of employment. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
