Emporia State University is seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused professional to serve as a Scholarships Coordinator. This position is responsible for administering institutional, athletic, federal, state, and external scholarship programs while providing professional support for financial aid operations. The Scholarships Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting student success, and helping students and families navigate scholarship and financial aid opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer institutional, athletic, federal, state, and external scholarship programs. Interpret and apply federal, state, NCAA, and institutional regulations related to scholarship and financial aid programs. Review student eligibility and process scholarship awards and adjustments. Monitor scholarship programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and university policies. Generate reports, maintain records, and support compliance monitoring and award processing activities. Utilize information systems and technological resources to manage scholarship programs and related data. Counsel students and families regarding scholarship opportunities, FAFSA completion, financial aid processes, and available funding resources. Present financial aid and scholarship information at on-campus and off-campus events. Collaborate with Admissions, Athletics, the Cashier's Office, and other campus partners to support student success and enrollment initiatives. Assist with process improvement efforts, policy development, and staff training related to scholarship administration.
