Job Description
The Financial Aid Specialist supports the daily operations of the Financial Aid Office by assisting students with the financial aid process. This includes reviewing applications, collecting documents, verifying eligibility, and helping students understand their aid options. The specialist ensures all tasks follow federal, state, and institutional guidelines and provides quality customer service to students, families, and staff. The Financial Specialist for Federal Work Study (FWS) is responsible for the administration, coordination, and compliance oversight of the Federal Work Study program in accordance with federal regulations and institutional policies. This position ensures accurate and timely processing of FWS student employment, including eligibility determination, job placement, budget monitoring, and recordkeeping.
