JOB SUMMARY
The Student Assistant for the Financial Aid Office is the first point of in-person contact for many visiting the office and Bayley Hall. Student Assistants help with various office tasks, including reporting and collection. Student Assistants also help with outreach and during campus events.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist at the Financial Aid Counter for walk-in inquiries Learn and maintain a basic working knowledge of the financial aid process at SHU Act as additional support during on-campus events and presentations, including some weekend and evening hours Assist students in completing aid documents and forms Scan and index collected documents to student accounts Work with an Administrator on a special project area task Conduct outreach efforts on pertinent updates and deadlines Provide technical support for virtual presentations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional and personable demeanor MS Office experience Federal Work Study required Minimum 3.0 CGPA Good customer service skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
