The Financial Aid Support Officer is responsible for the receipt of all direct loan and pell funding disbursed to Full Sail University. This person must distinguish between students who are eligible for funding and those who are not, to stay in compliance with federal regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and process Direct Loan batches and rejects Create and process Pell batches and rejects Maintain a report of approved batches Troubleshoot current batches Import ISIRs every morning Complete Plus application reports daily and scholarship reporting weekly Import SAIG responses COD manual entries Maintain appropriate sections of the Training Manual Cross-train and back up all other Funds Team responsibilities

Other Responsibilities:

Adhere to policies and procedures of Full Sail University Maintain strict confidentiality of company and personnel information Adhere to company attendance standards Performs other duties, as assigned

Experience:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of financial aid experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Work is performed in an office environment. The employee must be able to access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds. Must be able to work normal business hours 8:30 to 5:30; some overtime and weekends may be required. This position is based on Full Sail University's campus in Winter Park, Florida and can be performed on a hybrid basis to work from home and from campus.
