1010 Tavern Road, Alpine, CA - 91901 (onsite Monday-Thursday and remote on Friday)

Primary Purpose

Analyzes and reconciles accounts. Prepares and annotates variance reports.

Role requires a thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles, excellent verbal and written communication skill and the ability to present financial analysis to management.

Must be proficient in the use of Excel/Word software and have a working knowledge of popular financial management applications.

SAP experience a plus. Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures adherence to financial guidelines and standards.

Reviews monthly report for complex order accounting per FERC guidelines to ensure O&M and capital costs are accurately allocated.

Audits and approves vendor invoices for accuracy and SOX compliance.

Prepares and processes journal entries in SAP.

Corresponds with vendors to gather monthly accrual data, prepares proper accrual documentation, and submits to Accounts Payable. Audits data dashboard daily for order O&M costs that belong to capital per FERC guidelines. Qualifications

Education

Requires 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Experience

Requires 2-5 years of related experience. Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

Required:

Knowledge of accounting practices and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in Excel.

Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skill and the ability to present financial analysis to management.
