Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Job Summary A confidential organization is seeking an experienced Accounting / Financial Planning Analyst to support its Finance team. This onsite position in Montebello, CA will be responsible for budget input, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting support, and providing financial insights to assist leadership with strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, advanced budgeting and forecasting skills, and expert-level knowledge of MIP accounting software . This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage financial data accurately and support a fast-paced finance department. This position is paid weekly through a staffing agency . Essential Responsibilities Input and maintain organizational budgets within financial systems. Assist with forecasting, budget planning, and financial projections. Prepare financial reports, summaries, and executive-level presentations. Perform account reviews, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Utilize MIP accounting software to maintain financial records, reporting, and budget information. Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. Track budget performance and provide updates to department leaders. Assist with audit preparation, compliance reporting, and financial documentation. Monitor expenses, funding activity, and financial trends. Support grant and multi-source funding reporting when applicable. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience 3+ years of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting experience. Strong experience entering and managing budgets and financial forecasts. Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with MIP accounting software required . Experience preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Experience working in nonprofit, government-funded, or grant-funded environments preferred.
