Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Capital Solutions team. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in working across Pacifica's real estate asset portfolio (hospitality, senior livings, multifamily, retail, and manufactured housing) and fostering key financial institution relationships to support the management and growth of our company's finances. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and have excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough underwriting analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis on potential acquisitions and existing debt up for refinancing Foster, maintain, and grow relationships with Pacifica's financial institution partners Monitor and evaluate real estate asset financial performance, identifying areas of concern or opportunity. Conduct financial covenant testing Collaborate with portfolio management and acquisition teams to identify, source, and execute financing opportunities Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field. Credit underwriting experience and MBA, MSRE, or CFA designation is a plus. Proven work experience as a Real Estate Analyst, Financial Analyst, Credit Underwriter, or similar role. Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, financial modeling, and forecasting. Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Disciplined, able to stay focused, reprioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent workstreams Curious individual, open and willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
