Financial Analyst Accountant - Accounting and Finance Job Description We are seeking an experienced and hard-working Financial Analyst Accountant to join our growing team of accounting professionals. The Financial Analyst Accountant must be someone with strong analytical and numerical aptitude and must have a working knowledge of GAAP to be successful at the position. Job Responsibilities As a Financial Analyst Accountant, you will primarily be responsible for analyzing financial and operational results to gain a detailed understanding of the current business conditions and making recommendations to improve business performance. The Financial Analyst Accountant must also provide analysis for specific request of business results. Other responsibilities for the Financial Analyst Accountant will include: Researching, preparing and analyzing potential models to clearly communicate outcomes, opportunities and risks Acquiring data and underlying assumptions to be used in the creation of a quarterly forecast, annual budget and long range plan assumptions Coordinating with the respective functional Vice-President, Directors and Managers the development of all sales forecasting models and expenses Preparing, reviewing and distributing monthly reporting package highlighting key results Assisting with internal and external audits, as needed Other responsibilities include: month end entries and reporting, variance analysis, reconciling general ledger accounts and budgeting Job Requirements As a Financial Analyst Accountant, you will be required to have a strong analytical and numerical aptitude and a working knowledge of GAAP. The Financial Analyst Accountant must also have knowledge of planning and business intelligence software such as Cognos in order to be considered. Other Financial Analyst Accountant requirements include: Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting required 4+ years' experience in finance or accounting, including experience in analysis, forecasting, budgeting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products Strong knowledge of computer based accounting systems Benefits At PrideStaff, we provide our Financial Analyst Accountants with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package." Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 Per Year
