team is part of the broader Structured Finance Group at S&P Global Ratings. The team assigns ratings and publishes research for Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) investors, working collaboratively on both new issue ratings and ongoing surveillance of CMBS transactions. - As a Senior Analyst in our
U.S. CMBS
team, you will play a key role in driving analytical quality and efficiency, sharing your expertise with colleagues, and contributing to how the team continuously improves the way we work. As a Senior Analyst you will lead analysis on transactions within clearly defined criteria and frameworks and will be called upon to advise on more complex or non-standard situations by applying structured finance experience and analytical judgment. Your analytical expertise will directly influence rating outcomes and shape capital market decisions for CMBS investors.- What's in it for you:

Responsibilities:
- + Perform detailed commercial real estate valuation analysis on underlying CMBS collateral properties using established criteria and methodologies, integrating complex information and clearly communicating your conclusions to both internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
- (applicable for US candidates only): S&P Global states that the anticipated range of compensation for this position is $100,000 USD to $140,000 USD. Final compensation for this role will be based on the individual's performance, geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
+ An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2+ years of- relevant
- Structured Finance experience; direct CMBS experience will be a pivotal asset.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
+ Graduate degree in relevant discipline (Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business) or CFA designation + Experience with programming languages or advanced analytical tools (such as Python, R, or VBA) for financial modeling + Prior experience in commercial real estate investment, development, or asset management + Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing CMBS markets and structured finance products- Right to
