The ideal candidate will have experience supporting renewable energy investments, project finance transactions, financial modeling, and structured financing solutions. This role will work closely with internal teams, investors, lenders, developers, and other financial partners to evaluate renewable energy opportunities and support transactions from initial analysis through closing. Key Responsibilities Evaluate solar and renewable energy investment opportunities, including project financial performance, risks, and returns. Build, maintain, and analyze financial models for renewable energy projects. Support project finance, structured finance, tax equity, debt financing, and investment transactions. Analyze project cash flows, capital structures, debt service, returns, and investment assumptions. Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on solar and renewable energy projects. Assist with the preparation of investment memorandums, financial analyses, and transaction materials. Support negotiations and execution of financing and investment transactions. Work with lenders, tax equity investors, institutional investors, developers, legal advisors, and other third parties. Review project agreements, financing structures, and key commercial terms to identify financial implications and risks. Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate project and investment outcomes. Monitor existing investments and assist with portfolio and financial performance analysis. Research renewable energy markets, financing structures, tax incentives, and industry trends. Collaborate with development, engineering, asset management, accounting, and legal teams. Required Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience in Investment, Structured Finance, Project Finance, or a related finance function.
Mandatory:
Experience within the Solar Energy or Renewable Energy industry. Experience with renewable energy project finance or investment transactions. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Experience analyzing project cash flows, returns, debt structures, and investment assumptions. Understanding of renewable energy financing structures such as tax equity, project debt, construction financing, term loans, or other structured financing. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills. Ability to analyze complex financial and commercial information. Strong communication and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience with solar PV, BESS, distributed generation, or utility-scale renewable energy projects. Experience with tax equity structures, including partnership flip or sale-leaseback transactions. Experience working with lenders, investors, developers, or financial institutions. Knowledge of renewable energy tax incentives such as ITC/PTC. Experience with investment underwriting, transaction execution, or portfolio management. Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience.
