Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support manufacturing operations in Norwalk, Ohio by delivering insight that strengthens financial performance and business decision-making. This role partners closely with plant leadership and the plant controller to oversee planning, reporting, and accounting activities for a light assembly environment. The position combines forecasting and analysis with general ledger ownership and cost support, while also helping guide inventory-related financial processes across two facilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with plant leadership to evaluate operating results, identify performance trends, and recommend actions that improve financial outcomes.
  • Lead month-end close activities, prepare accurate financial reports, and ensure timely communication of results to management.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning processes to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Manage general ledger accounting activities for the assigned plant, including reconciliations, journal entries, and maintenance of reporting accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory-related financial analysis and serve as a key resource for materials and inventory performance at the Norwalk plant.
  • Support cost accounting processes by maintaining standard cost structures and analyzing manufacturing cost drivers across two facilities.
  • Produce variance analysis and ad hoc reporting that explains differences between actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
  • Use financial systems and reporting tools, including SAP and HFM, to maintain data integrity and deliver reliable financial statements.
  • Travel on a quarterly basis to support an additional plant and ensure alignment in financial processes and reporting expectations.
