Works mainly in investment firms, though can also be employed in lending institutions, corporate finance departments, banks or insurance companies.

Newark, Delaware
•5 days a week on site
Duration:
Contract
•6 months, with potential extension and possible conversion to FTE based on performance and business need

Job Description We are seeking a Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fixed income operations, financial services, and business-as-usual (BAU) support and a proven ability to deliver accurate asset setup and maintenance while supporting bankers and traders with timely research and query resolution .
Responsibilities:
Provide research and operational support to Investment Bankers and Traders. Handle daily BAU queries and tasks for fixed income asset creation and maintenance. Maintain data accuracy and completeness across relevant systems and tools. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve exceptions and process breaks within defined SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in financial services operations, preferably supporting fixed income products. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Team player, self-starter, and reliable, with effective communication skills. 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment operations or similar roles.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with automation tools or scripting to streamline operational workflows. Background with data quality controls and exception management in capital markets environments. Additional Details Schedule may require hours outside normal business hours during high volumes. Candidates seeking very short-term roles should not apply due to training ramp-up. Why BCforward?
