Job Description

A growing manufacturer in Wilmington is adding a Financial Analyst to its team. This role sits at the intersection of finance, pricing, sales, and operations, giving you exposure to the financial decisions that impact revenue, margins, customer relationships, and overall profitability. You'll play a key role in managing customer rebate programs while also helping analyze pricing strategies, incentives, and purchasing activity. For an early-career accounting or finance professional, it's an opportunity to build valuable experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Process and validate a variety of customer rebate programs, ensuring transactions are accurate and completed on schedule Track contractor purchasing activity, including volume-buy rebates, quantities purchased, and related incentives Prepare recurring rebate and purchasing analysis for management and other stakeholders Assist with quarterly and year-end rebate accruals and ensure financial information is properly supported Support payment processing associated with contractor loyalty programs Review invoices, accounting records, and supporting documentation for accuracy Maintain and update sales, pricing, and rebate databases Partner with Sales & Marketing on pricing proposals, customer incentives, and rebate programs Help centralize and document pricing programs so they can be consistently communicated and administered Analyze proposed pricing programs and their potential gross-to-net and profitability impact Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies and incentive programs Audit pricing and rebate rules within internal systems to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate calculations Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions Participate in finance and system implementation projects as the business continues to evolve What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business 2+ years of finance experience Manufacturing experience preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other departments Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
